The community of Lugano is currently formed by 13 sisters of different nationalities ranging from an age group that varies from 30 to 85 years old!
“Our vocation is to always be in the joy that comes from the Lord, the joy of having met HIM, our first love, and this joy that we live and seek, we would like to pass it on to the people we meet with every day, with a smile on our lips, a smile that comes from the heart, as our Holy Father Francis rightly suggests, without joy in our hearts we cannot call ourselves Christians.”
This is detected by those who regularly participate in the various religious functions open to the public.
The sisters’ day is marked by a precise rhythm.
At 5:45 am wake up.
At 6.10 am in the chapel for the Divine Office, meditation and
at 7.30 am Holy Mass.
At 11:30 am Midday prayer
At 4.00 pm Rosary and the singing of the Vespers
At 8.45 pm Compline’s prayer closes the day
Daily Eucharistic Adoration both in the morning and afternoon offers the sisters a moment of detachment from manual labor.
